Nel 2007, nell'ambito di una Community, venne fondato il gruppo di Jazz Project. Al gruppo aderirono una cinquantina di persone di diverse nazionalità, molto produttive e dotate di molta creatività in fatto di musica, foto, video, ma anche di racconti, testi e poesie, arti grafiche. Vennero a crearsi numerosi e fruttuosi rapporti di collaborazione tra i vari componenti. Poi, nell'agosto del 2008, la Community venne chiusa e sostituita con una di nuova forma, con minori spazi creativi e di meno agile navigazione. Si rischiò di vanificare i rapporti che si erano creati tra le persone. Più di qualcuno smise di frequentare la Community. Parte degli amici di Jazz Project confluirono nell'unico gruppo italiano inizialmente presente nella Community. Nacque così l'idea di realizzare un progetto per mantenere vivi i rapporti, continuare a scambiarsi informazioni, anche fuori dalla Community. E' nato così nel gennaio del 2009 "Eventi Jazz", progetto dallo spirito un po' allegro e giocoso, per tenersi aggiornati sulle iniziative portate avanti dai vari amici e che ora è consultabile anche su FaceBook, con l'intento di proseguire lungo la serena strada dell'amicizia anche tra persone che sono fisicamente distanti.
